Cabin Fever

Seattle, WA -- 2nd Midwinter cabin fever party at Robynn and JC's house. Meaty chili, cornbread, a hearty vegetable soup, beer, soft drinks, etc — feel free to add to the mix. Fish Fry

Vashon, WA -- 19th in a series -- Cajun fried fish and oysters, boiled crawfish, Southern hushpuppies, falafel, coleslaw and beer. That's all four major food groups: Cajun, Creole, Southern and beer. Details or info from Carol, or call (360) 600-4490.

MotoGP at Laguna Seca

Monterey, CA -- "THE" roadracing event of the year! See Nicky Hayden, Ben Spies and Colin Edwards competing on US soil against "the Aliens". No 250s or 125s, but the AMA Pro Racing Series will also be there. Many WL subscribers will be attending -- stay tuned to the mailing list for details about rides to/from, camping, dining, and general debauchery...

Maryland-Style Crab Feast

Redmond, WA -- Fresh Dungeness crabs, steamed Maryland-style. Plenty of grilled hamburgers, hot-dogs and sausages for everyone, as well as beer, soda, trampoline, water slide, etc. Crabs for those who RSVP and pay in advance. More information if you're interested.

20th Great Pacific Northwest Dryside Gather

The 9th annual Pass the Oyster

Burlington, WA -- Pass the Oyster is the week before the Oyster Run when hordes descend on some of the greater and lesser known roads of Skagit, Whatcom, Island and Snohomish Counties. The 19th WetLeather CookOff

Vashon, WA -- A potluck event -- beer/cider/sodapop provided, bring your own "food". This year's official ingredients are green beans, seaweed, and lamb. Costumes are encouraged, and a prize will be awarded. Info? Email Martin or Carol.

Orphan's Thanksgiving

Redmond, WA -- Join Lee, Kristen, Virginia, Victoria and Veronica Hart at 2pm for their annual event at their house: turkeys (2 smoked & 1 deep fried), mashed potatoes, plenty of stove-top stuffing (if needed), and more. If you have a favorite pre-prepared dish or drink, bring it. RSVPs are requested — send them to Kristen and Lee .

Seattle CYCLE WORLD Show

Seattle, WA -- The 30th iteration is to be held in the Washington Convention Center downtown (NOT Qwest Field). Motorcycles park for free. This event has declined in quality/quantify recently, hopefully this year it will start recovering! Website: tentatively here. Generally WetLeather does a dinner deal on Saturday night...

7th Annual Boxing-Day Party @ Black Dog Farm

Duvall, WA -- For the 7th straight year in a row, we (Lara and Jim) will be hosting a boxing-day get-together at our place. We'll have beer and wine, homemade chili (meat and vegetarian), etc. Xbox, an outdoor porch for herfing, and if the weather is tolerable, demo rides on the trials bike.
