I am taking a Photography class and I need to submit a printed portfolio at the end of the semester.
I have never had a digital photo printed before. (shocking, I know)
I need these to be A4 sized shots.
So combining the "I have never done this before" with "god I hope they speak enough english for me to explain"
So, before I show up at the shop, what should I do with my photo?
Do I bring .tiff? .jpg? (I dont expect anyone here to know what a shop
here in egypt can handle, I just want to know what you have done in
the past)
Thanks
Would it work to order prints online?
Jack,
Is there a chance you could have the prints done by one of the online services and sent to you in Egypt?
If you have to get the prints done in Egypt, the local lab will be able to tell you what format they want the images in. RAW is probably preferred if your going to do color corrected prints. PSD from CS2 or 3 would be next in favor.
If you're looking for an online resource - shout out and I'll send you some links.
