What if you had a chance to go to the IOM TT? What if you were scraping together the preparations to go watch, and came upon the opportunity to go RACE?!? Or, even better from my point of view since I'm not a racer and wouldn't have the balls to race THAT course in a million years, what if one of your bestest motorcycling buddies got that chance? One of our WetLeather friends, a qualified racer, is in just this enviable position.
Chris Denzler had a Honda 400 v4 prepped by Slick, Fogarty's ex-WSB mechanic, the ex-Sanyo Honda 600 Superbike, (also built by Slick), the dedicated experienced services of Tearm Aardvark Racing for pit support, and sponsorship from WetLeather and other friends from the Seattle area, as well as locally at the IoM and in England proper. He told us: "I'm a truly lucky man. I'm over 40, and still feel mostly great, still have better than 20/15 vision, have a broad domain of experience, am riding as well as (and far safer than) ever. This is the time for me to do it!"
