Ingredients:1 head lettuce
1 avocado
1 clove garlic
1/2 c green onions, finely sliced
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 Tbsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
Preparation:Pour a large glass of your favorite wine. Drink some of it.

In a large salad bowl mash one avocado and one clove of garlic.

Add remaining ingredients.

Stir well.

Add one head lettuce (torn, not cut).

Toss well.

Drink the rest of the wine.

Enjoy!
Notes:His Companion remarks that this is particularly wonderful when eaten on a beach, looking out of a private tent.
