|Ingredients:||1-1/2 lbs deer steak, cut into 1" squares
4 cloves garlic, fine chopped
4 Tbsp butter, divided
1 lb mushrooms, quartered
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
12 oz sour cream
6 oz oyster sauce
|Preparation:||Saute garlic in 1 Tbsp butter. When brown, add remaining butter, deer, mushrooms, onion and bell pepper. Season to taste.
When deer is brown add sour cream and oyster sauce. Mix and let simmer until heated thoroughly. When you add the sour cream and oyster sauce it will seem very watery but that is fine. Let simmer and reduce slightly to desired consistency.
Serve over toasted garlic French bread.
