2 tsp sugar
1 c milk
|Preparation:||Heat waffle iron,
Beat egg into milk, add other ingredients, stir to mix (not MIX).
Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until steam no longer comes out of iron.
|Notes:||I distinctly remember adding 1 Tbsp oil or melted butter to the waffle recipes to prevent sticking, but it's not in the book. You can try it either way you wish. I don't care; I'm not cleaning your waffle iron.
To make Light and Fluffy Waffles:
Separate the egg, whip egg white until stiff. Beat egg yolk with milk, add MIX and sugar, gently fold in egg white.
