Ingredients:Enough: salmon fillets or steaks (1/2" to 1-1/4" thick)
Sufficient: Garlic Habanero Dip
Adequate: Basil leaves
Preparation:Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Rub Garlic Habanero Dip thickly on both sides of the salmon. Put the salmon on a rack, cover the top with basil leaves. Bake for 10 minutes for each inch thickness of the salmon.

The garlic habanero dip also goes well on halibut and marlin, even though we're out of basil.
Notes:The basil leaves on the salmon were a suggestion from Carol's favorite fish shop (in the little market (Holladay Market??) north of Lloyd Center).

Since I always oil fish before I broil it, the next step was automatic.
