|Ingredients:|| 20 oz tomato sauce
I small can tomato paste
1 cup brown sugar
1 yellow onion
lots o garlic
1 green bell pepper diced
1 Tbls garlic powder
1 tsp liquid smoke
1 Tbls Johnny's seasoning salt
1 Tbls Cider vinegar
Tabasco or crushed red pepper to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste
|Preparation:||Combine all ingredients in medium sauce pan and simmer for at least an hour stirring often. If it becomes too carmelly you can thin it with whiskey or or a little beer (not too much).
Ladle over the pork and you will be very happy. I also use this sauce to simmer meats in either stove top or in a roasting pan in the oven.
