I started doing a little studying of Ruby on Rails, since it seems to be the trendy thing these days. I see LOTS of job openings for Ruby on Rails developers.
The neighbors are having a yard sale. So I got the old Nordic Trac out and put a "For Sale - Make Offer" sign on it, just in case. Probably won't sell, but might get it out of my garage. While I was out front, I finally got around to fixing the one front step - except I didn't have enough of the right screws to secure it back. Sigh. Another task deferred. I did get quite a bit of scraping done on the steps and railing and pickets, though.
Another Nerds On Site introductory "third step" meeting this morning. I wonder if I just don't have the entrepreneurial spirit. I just can't visualize myself spending half my time driving around in a red Beetle, visiting small businesses and trying to drum up business.

Below are the parts that were important to *me*. Hope this helps.
Merry New Year!
