Ingredients: | Pastry part:
1-1/8 c flour 1/2 tsp salt 6 Tbsp chilled butter 1 egg 1/4 c sour cream 1/2 Tbsp soft butter Filling part: 2 Tbsp butter 1/2 c sliced mushrooms 1-1/2 lb meat (ground beef is great) 1/3 c chopped onion 1/4 c chopped parsley 1/3 c grated cheese 1/4 c milk 1 egg, beaten |

Preparation: | Pastry part:
Sift flour and salt in chilled bowl. Work in butter until mix is the appearance of course meal. Mix eggs and sour cream. Stir into flour mixture. Work in soft ball and fregerate. Chill one hour. Roll dough into 2 rectangles. Place 1st piece of dough on greased or buttered cookie sheet. Fill with meat filling (below). Top with 2nd dough. Pinch closed. Brush w/ egg. Bake at 375 degrees, 45 minutes. Filling part: Brown meat and mushrooms in butter, then stir in other ingredients (except egg). |
