Ingredients: | 1 large onion
1 clove garlic 1 tsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt 1 Tbsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce 1.5 lb ground beef of indeterminate quality 1/4 cC water Heinz Tomato Ketchup (no fair using catsup or some other cheap brand) |

Preparation: | Chop onion and finely chop the garlic clove.
Saute onion and garlic with L&P and Lawry's salt until starting to clear. Add ground beef and brown same thoroughly. Drain. Return to pan; add water and ketchup to consistency much runnier than you'd like to eat. Cook over high heat to appropriate consistency. Server over toasted white bread, with optional melted American Singles on top. |
