Ingredients:chicken
butter
2-10 clove garlic, smashed, diced, chopped or whole, who cares
onion
mushrooms
1/2 bay leave
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp tarragon
ground pepper to taste
*cayenne optional
cheap white wine, 1-3 c depending on size/amount
Preparation:Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Chicken, much as ya want to eat, skin it.
Lightly brown it in a bit 'o butter.
Flop into oven-safe implement.
Cover with halved 'shrooms and onions.
Add bay leaf, thyme, tarragon, ground pepper to taste (shot of cayenne if yer an Evil Californian(tm))
Add enough wine to cover 1/2 the ingredients.

Bake at 325 degrees for 45-60 minutes.

Serve with garlic bread.
Notes:Quantities are not specified. Depending on the amount of chicken, adjust the mushrooms and onions to that, when sliced, they "cover" the chicken.
