Ingredients:Bosc pears (enough to cover the bottom of the dish)
Apricot preserves
Grand Marnier
Sugar
Balsamic
Preparation:Slice Bosc pear into 1/4" thick slices, layer in buttered gratin dish/baking dish.
Sprinkle with a little Grand Marnier and some apricot preserves.
Sprinkle granulated sugar over top and place under broiler until sugar is caramelized (about 8 minutes).
Top with a drizzle of aged Balsamic vinegar or reduced cheaper Balsamic vinegar.
Notes:Accept praise and adulation from friends that think you went to a lot of trouble to make this SPECIAL desert for them. 8^)
