Ingredients:2 c MIX
1/2 c sugar
1/4 tsp soda
1 tsp powdered ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp powdered clove
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 c sour milk or yoghurt or
1/2 c milk + 1-1/2 tsp vinegar
1/2 c molasses
1 egg
Preparation:Preheat oven to 350.

Mix dry ingredients, add remaining ingredients, beat until blended.
Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
