Ingredients: | 1 peck fresh corn kernels (8 quarts)
8 gal water 8 qts hops 1 pkt dry yeast |
||
Preparation: | Add 5 gallons of water and all corn into large boiler.
Mark water level, then add last 3 gallons water. Boil until liquid is at original level. Boil hops in 1/2 gal. water. If dry hops, pre-soak. Mix liquids, let cool. Add yeast, let work out. |
||
Notes: | Again, posted for amusement only. Beer made from corn might be interesting, but I doubt this was a scientific recipe, and I'm not convinced the correct amount of hops are listed. | ||
Equipment: | 10 gallon pot. |
