Ingredients:3 c MIX
1 egg plus milk to make 1 cup
1 tsp baking powder
Preparation:Beat egg into milk, add remaining ingredients, stir until mixed.
Drop by large spoonsful onto boiling stew, cover, and keep at slow boil or simmer for 20 minutes. Don't peek.
Notes:In our house, these were always found on top of sauerbraten.
